Entered the Belfast Parks Photographic Competition the other day. Here is one of the pictures that made it into my final selection before I finally decided which pictures I was going to submit.

I like it because the romance is reflected in both the couple blurred in the background and the floral foreground.

The Irish News had this section about my Grandad in it. Actually got it a while ago but realized I hadn't uploaded it yet.

Two in a month.

Yes, two posts in a month is something pretty impressive for me :P well since my last post my plans to get a dirt cheap 5d Mark ii from a Beijing market have fallen through. Think I may just invest in a wee 50D then. Better than what I have now by any means.

New lens

Managed to convince my dad to sell me his Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Autofocus Lens. On Ebay these would cost about 1100-1300. MY dad sold me it for 200.

Had a lot of spare time on my hands since the break up. MY 365 is being kept up to date every couple of days instead of weekly now. I've re-watched 2 dvds I swore upon watching them I'd never watch again. Going away this Friday to the cremation of my grandad in scotland. Here's the charming fellow below:


In other news, I keep seeing Natalie online on facebook. I click to open a conversation window, but very like my stutter of the late 1990s and early 2000s, no words appear. I so badly want to say something, but I dont know what is appropriate. Hopefully this will change soon.

Spent the afternoon the best way possible. Wandering around Ward Park with Natalie :) Took this picture of two birds sharing a piece of bread.

Despite my decision to remain modest, I am reasonably proud of it :)
