Best Friend

Havnent spoken in a while. Sorry folks - latest poem I wrote in a birthday card to one of my old best friends who I hvent spoken to in a while. Miss you buddy - RIP

Best Friend 18.09.07

Before I met you I was blind.
But you helped me to see.
And since then all I try to do, I
s be a friend like you were to me.

You always being a smile to my face,
You brighten up my mood.
And if I could somehow repay you,
You know I surely would.

I'll try to always be here,
To life you when you're down.
Believe me, you look so much better.
When you smile instead of frown.

If I could live forever,
I'd do it just for you,
To make sure your always happy,
In everything you do.

And whatever day you live to,
I'll live 'til the day before.
Because living a day without you,
Would be unbearable and sore.

If you cannot find me,
When your sad and don't know what to do.
Just try and remember your happiness,
The times I spent with you.

But the clock is moving quick today,
Its time for this poem to end.
But before it does, Ill tell you this:
You are my most special friend.
